In the 1990s, Peter Lloyd from Norwich in England produced a limited series of historic advertising cars based on Lledo diecast models with specially moulded resin parts, originally for a small circle of friends. Soon he also sold the models at swapmeets. The range consisted of more than 20 different so-called "Productmobiles", i.e. special-bodied vehicles designed to look like the company‘s primary product, such as shoes, pencils, bottles, tubes and other packagings. The models are reproductions of original designs pictured in period photographs, newspaper advertisements, and other sources.
